Sawley Community Association gets £1000 DCC Grant Funding

GRANTS TO GIVE LOCAL YOUNGSTERS A SPORTING CHANCE

Local County Councillors Stuart Swann (Swadlincote South) and Pat Murray (Linton) have gained grant funding for three local sports clubs.

Wingerworth Fencing Club is delighted to announce that we have received a grant for £2,500 from Cllr Barry Lewis via the Derbyshire County Council Community Leadership Fund.

SUPPORTING LOCAL PEOPLE IN NEED

Stuart Swann, County Councillor for Swadlincote South and Church Gresley, has secured a grant of £515 for the South Derbyshire CVS Foodbank.

WORK DUE TO START ON NEW CARE HOME EARLY NEXT YEAR 
 

Construction is planned to start on building a new Derbyshire County Council care home next year.
