Wayne Major currently represents Sandiacre as and along with Risley, Stanton-by-Dale and Ockbrook as the County Councillor and also serves on Erewash Borough Council where he is Deputy Leader. On the County Council he is a member of the Standards Committee and Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Authority.

Wayne lives in Sandiacre with his young family and is involved in a range of local community projects serving as Chairman of Sandiacre Parish Council and as a School Governor at Cloudside Academy.

Sandiacre is a great place to live and work with lots of local facilities and a strong community spirit and Wayne is proud to serve his community. He is always happy to talk on the phone or meet with residents to discuss any issues or concerns.
