County Councillor for Etwall and Findern Division
Martyn was first elected to Derbyshire County Council back in 2005. From 2009 - 2013 and from 2017 - 2025 he chaired the authority's Planning Committee. Martyn has also served on South Derbyshire District Council since 2003 where he was leader from 2018 - 2021.
Outside of local politics Martyn formerly worked in the aerospace industry and enjoys spending quality time with family and friends.
