County Councillor for Glossop North Division
Jean was first elected to the County Council in 2009. Jean has held a variety of roles at Derbyshire County Council including as Cabinet Member for Adult Care from 2017 - 2021 and as Civic Chairman of the Council from 2021 - 2022.
Jean also served as a Borough Councillor in the High Peak from 2007 - 2023 in which time she served a year’s term as Mayor of that authority.
