Chris lives in Duffield. He is married with two children both of whom attended Ecclesbourne school, he works in product management.

Chris has been a Parish Councillor for Duffield for 8 years, a Borough Councillor for 15 years and a serving member on Derbyshire's Police and Crime Panel. Chris is also the local Councillor for Derbyshire County Council representing Duffield, Belper South and Quardon. He chairs the County Council's Governance, Ethics and Standards Committee.
