Save Our Schools - Sign the Petition!

Labour’s Education Secretary announced in October that nationally, 44 new free school applications approved and awarded funding by the last Conservative Government had been paused and were now under a review process to see whether they would be scrapped or allowed to continue.

Of the 44, four of the applications were in Derbyshire and these include:

Infinity Park Spencer Academy, Nr Sinfin, South Derbyshire
New House Farm CE Primary, Nr Mickleover, South Derbyshire

We, the undersigned, call on the Labour Government to end the uncertainty surrounding the four proposed new free school projects in Derbyshire (listed below) and honour the commitment made by the last Conservative Government to build them and provide the much needed places for Derbyshire children and young people, as originally planned.
