£4000 Grant funds to assist Long Eaton Rugby Club to upgrade Clubhouse Kitchen
DCC Cllr Kewal Singh Athwal was approached by Chris Brookes of Long Eaton Rugby Club who requested grant funding of £4000 to assist the club to refurbish the kitchen in the club house at West Park
LERFC Chairman, Chris Brookes said;
“Our Community Club continues to thrive, and with the support of DCC and the councillors, in the ever-decreasing world of grants, this very generous donation is fabulous and will assist us in improving our offering to the community. I thank DCC and Councillor Kewal Singh Athwal personally and on behalf of the club and the wider community”.
Derbyshire County Councillor Kewal Singh Athwal Said;
“I am delighted to have been able to support Long Eaton Rugby Club with this £4000Grant from the Derbyshire County Council MCLS to refurbish the kitchen facility in the club house at West Park. I am aware of the wonderful work done by all the team at LERFC in making Long Eaton Rugby Club a great community sporting club and I wish them much success on the field this season and for many years to come”.
