Ashbourne - Steve Bull

Steve was born and have lived and worked in Ashbourne all his life. Running his own business for the last 31 years.

Since 2015 he has been proud to be the Conservative member on the County Council, representing all the residents of the 26 parishes that  make up the Ashbourne Division, Also for the last 4 years he have been a member on the Derbyshire Fire & Rescue Authority.

Steve has tried to attend all the parish council meetings throughout this time, listening to issues or project ideas that have arisen.

Due to the pandemic he has not been able to attend all the virtual meetings being held by the parish councils as often as he would have liked , however he has kept in touch throughout, with the Parish councils and residents regarding any needs or issues in their areas liaising with county officers to resolve them.

Actions Steve will continue to work on are:

High speed broadband for the rural areas.

The needs of the Elderly and most vulnerable residents

Schools

Ashbourne bypass to help reduce HGV’s coming through the town causing environmental damage.

Pot holes and road improvements

Road safety  speeding and other traffic issues

Flooding

Support local organisations and community groups with projects.

Steve would like to continue representing the Ashbourne Division and hopes for your support in the election on 6 May 2021.
